The Hong Kong Funders’ Network on Ageing Well (“the Network”) organized a learning visit today to the Jockey Club “Age at Home” in Shatin and the Gerontech Cleaning and Maintenance Service Centre in Fo Tan. It was well received by 24 representatives of 13 member foundations. We learnt more about the operations of these two centres, directly from the staff of Hong Kong Council of Social Service, St. James’ Settlement and Evangelical Lutheran Church Social Service – Hong Kong. We all look forward to exploring the best use of gerontechnology and more collaborations to promote ageing in place together.
