Hong Kong, like many developed nations, is dominated by the mindset that “more economic growth is better”, often overlooking the fact that it comes at the expense of environmental and socio-economic trade-offs. Along with long-term strategies and concrete policies to address urgent environmental concerns, a significant shift in values and behavior is essential in making Hong Kong more sustainable for living.
