Our strategic partner Happy Ageing Lab Foundation (“HAL”) scored a dazzling success at the World Ageing Festival held in Singapore in early May 2024!
HAL’s 1-year pilot project “Hou2 Living Gallery” has recently become the Winner of the Innovation of the Year, in the category of Active Ageing Community for the 12th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards 2024.
This was a participatory estate improvement programme to address double-aging in Hong Kong through intensive engagement with multiple stakeholders, including residents, professionals, students and management office staff. It demonstrates the feasibility and benefits of such community engagement approach which could be extended to cover other housing estates and old urban areas in our city.
