ZeShan Foundation welcomes new Executive Director

ZeShan Foundation is very pleased and excited to introduce Ms Irene So, who joined us as Executive Director on 2 September 2019.

Irene brings over 20 years of experience in the social sector, having strategised and led the development of new initiatives and impactful programmes for charitable foundations and NGOs, including Porticus Asia, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, Oxfam, and Senior Citizen Home Safety Association.  As a former journalist, she is also a mission-driven collaborator experienced in leading multi-stakeholder engagement to address social issues and drive systemic changes with grassroots and international organisations in more than 10 countries in Southeast Asia.

With her strong local and regional networks as well as background in both the NGO and funding sides, Irene will be a great resource and will add much-needed capacity to the Foundation.
